My name is Claudene Kidd.
I'm a channel manager at Bynder responsible for the UK and Ireland region.
There are, I think, hundreds of different DAM solutions on the market
Bynder; we really kind of see ourselves as playing in the middle where there's
definitely a gap in the market.
Traditionally there's always been two or DAMs that play
on kind of two sides of the fence,
so to speak.
So you have the entry level kind of asset repository solutions,
more storage solutions, things like your kind of Google Drive, Dropbox, etcetera.
And then on the other extreme end you have to say your customized on premise,
heavy duty,
big kind of DAMs but then also have some additional published in other features,
Bynder, we're really in the middle.
So we differ from the classic
on premise solutions by being a DAM first or Cloud First solution.
And we also have a very modular solution.
So while we do have the repository at the core,
we do have a number of modules that kind of sit around
the periphery to enable again that enrichment feature to help create,
manage and then actually distribute content.
I think off the top of my head we work with over 60 vendors today.
I think we have over 80 plus out of the box connectors
and Bynder as a solution, we do have an API
methodology in terms of connecting to other martech and commerce tools.
And then we also have have SDK kits as well for kind of more customized or
shall we say unique or complex situations.
And that number is growing all the time.
So we have a Pacific partner team that looks after our technology partners
which is actually supplemented by our in house products and development team.
And they do a really good job of actually,
just ensuring that we have all of
the different types of vendors available and working with
us to again make sure that our platform is
really ideal for all of our customers and partners.
In the UK market entry
I think there's probably three standout ones. Firstly we
do get a lot of interest from agencies,
so which makes sense.
I think agency organizations are definitely trying
to help other organizations keep up with the
you say, you know, trilemma dilemma.
So trying to create, you know,
high volumes of content for loads of
different channels and touchpoints and different formats,
but then also ensuring that, you know,
you have the right teams that always collaborating and that the right products
or content is getting out to the right person at the right time,
Very complex kind of role.
So agencies are kind of looking at
intelligent DAM providers like Bynder to actually
help them again manage that whole life cycle of content for their clients.
We're also finding retail clients,
we're still trying to capitalize or leverage the digital shelf or e-commerce.
So obviously since the pandemic, everyone's kind of moving to a digital first and
there are still a lot of organizations that are still trying to understand
the best way that they can then pivot and then manage that kind of
online first way of selling.
And lastly, I say, the industries that have been,
I'd say maybe slow or reluctant to probably embrace the kind of
Cloud First in all of their kind of business and infrastructure operations.
Um,
some of the industries that are talking to us now and looking
at how to again leverage kind of intelligent DAM, martech,
e-commerce, manufacturing organizations, automotive.
Yeah, I suppose so. Those are the three key areas there for UK.
